Milo Social Proof

A live subscriber counter and “someone just subscribed” toasts, powered by your real data. No fake numbers.

Installation

1. Install and activate the free Milo Subscriptions plugin.
2. Upload and activate Milo Social Proof (Plugins → Add New → Upload).
3. Enter your license key under Subscriptions → Licenses to enable updates.

Configuration

A live subscriber counter (block or [milo_subscriber_count] shortcode) and optional “someone just subscribed” toasts, powered by your real subscriber data.

Under Subscriptions → Settings → General → Social Proof:

Setting	Description
Enable social proof	On/off switch.
Minimum subscribers to display	The counter stays hidden until you reach this number. Nobody brags about 3 subscribers.
Show “someone just subscribed” toasts on the storefront	On/off switch.

The counter

The Milo Subscriber Count block (or [milo_subscriber_count]) renders your live count, active and pending-cancel subscriptions included, cached 15 minutes. Options: custom text with a {count} placeholder, marketing rounding, a display minimum (below it, nothing renders), and an optional single-product scope picked by name.

Toasts

Opt in from the settings: discreet bottom-corner notifications built only from real sign-ups of the last 7 days, first name and city only, at most 3 per page view, never on cart or checkout.

Data honesty

There is no way to fake the number: it always comes from your subscription data (WooCommerce and standalone both count).

Billing modes

Works in both WooCommerce mode and standalone (Stripe-driven) mode.
