About Milo

Subscriptions cost too much. So we built the other one.

Doing subscriptions properly on WooCommerce has always cost more than most stores could justify. Milo exists to change the arithmetic: a free core that is genuinely complete, paid add-ons for the things only some stores need, and a payments plugin that earns one percent of what you collect instead of a yearly licence.

What we hold to

01

Free is actually free

The migrator, the customer portal, the eleven transactional emails: they are in the free plugin and they stay there. Nothing a subscriptions plugin should obviously do sits behind a licence key.

02

We get paid when you do

Milo Payments takes 1% of what you actually collect. A quiet month for your store is a quiet month for us, which is a healthier alignment than an invoice that arrives whatever happens.

03

Add-ons are a la carte

Buy the one thing your store needs, or take the bundle and stop counting. Either way the engine underneath is the same one everybody else runs for free.

04

Built on the WordPress of today

HPOS from day one, block checkout, a React admin on DataViews, a REST API covering every operation. No compatibility shims dragged along from 2014.

Founder

“I have spent more than fifteen years building WooCommerce extensions, including payment and subscription work that handled millions in transactions and renewals. The thing I kept seeing was simple: doing subscriptions well on WooCommerce cost more than most stores could justify. Milo is what I would build from scratch today.”

The team around it

Milo is not built in isolation. The project is surrounded by experienced WordPress and WooCommerce specialists: developers, designers and support people who have shipped products used by real stores at scale. The core stays small and focused, and the right people are brought in where they matter most.

Support is answered by the people who write the code. There is no first line filter, which is also why we would rather rewrite a documentation page than answer the same ticket twice.
