Milo Gift Cards

Sell gift cards that redeem into store credit, consumed automatically on the recipient’s renewals.

Installation

1. Install and activate the free Milo Subscriptions plugin.
2. Upload and activate Milo Gift Cards (Plugins → Add New → Upload).
3. Enter your license key under Subscriptions → Licenses to enable updates.

Configuration

Configuration lives on the product (the gift card checkbox); code management has its own screen under Subscriptions → Gift Cards.

Selling gift cards

Check This is a gift card on a product. An optional recipient-email field appears on the product page; when filled, the code goes straight to the recipient. Codes (GC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) are issued when the order is paid.

Redemption

The email’s redeem link (or the Milo Gift Card Redemption block / [milo_gift_card_redeem] shortcode) converts the code into store credit, one time only. Requires the Milo Store Credit add-on, which then consumes the credit on renewals automatically.

Managing codes

Subscriptions → Gift Cards lists every issued code with amount, recipient, status (active / redeemed / revoked), and who redeemed it when. Copy codes for support, revoke compromised ones, reactivate mistakes.
