Milo Age Check

Age verification for restricted subscriptions: wine clubs, spirits, and anything 18+.

Installation

1. Install and activate the free Milo Subscriptions plugin.
2. Upload and activate Milo Age Check (Plugins → Add New → Upload).
3. Enter your license key under Subscriptions → Licenses to enable updates.

Configuration

Flag a product as age-restricted in its settings; checkout then requires a date of birth, validated against your minimum age and remembered per customer with an archived proof.

Under Subscriptions → Settings → General → Age Check:

Setting	Description
Enable age verification	On/off switch.
Minimum age	Numeric value.

Flagging products

Check Age-restricted on any product (wine club boxes, spirits, anything with a minimum age). The product page displays the notice with your configured minimum age.

Checkout verification

When the cart holds a restricted product, a required date-of-birth field appears (both checkout flavors). Underage or missing dates block the order with a clear message. The proof (date of birth, computed age, minimum, timestamp, IP) is archived on the order.

Returning customers

The verification is remembered on the customer account, so renewals and future purchases skip the question. It never re-prompts someone who already proved their age.
