Milo Discord

Active subscribers get a Discord role automatically. Cancelled ones lose it. Your community runs itself.

Installation

1. Install and activate the free Milo Subscriptions plugin.
2. Upload and activate Milo Discord (Plugins → Add New → Upload).
3. Enter your license key under Subscriptions → Licenses to enable updates.

Configuration

Create a Discord application and bot (discord.com/developers), invite the bot to your server with Manage Roles, then paste the credentials here. Add the [milo_discord] area to your account page so subscribers can connect.

Under Subscriptions → Settings → General → Discord:

Setup

In the Discord developer portal, create an application (client ID and secret) and a bot (token), invite the bot to your server with the Manage Roles permission, and create the subscriber role. Paste everything under Settings → Discord, and whitelist the redirect URI https://yoursite.com/?milo-discord-oauth=1 in the application’s OAuth settings.

The connect area

The Milo Discord block, the [milo_discord] shortcode, or the My Account dashboard show a Connect Discord button (OAuth, identify scope only). Connected active subscribers also see your server invite link. Customers can disconnect anytime, which removes the role.

Role sync

The role is granted while a subscription is active (or pending-cancel) and removed on cancellation, expiry, or hold, in both WooCommerce and standalone modes. A sync log keeps the last 100 grants/removals.
