Milo Box Builder

Let customers build their own subscription box: pick N items from a pool, and change next renewal’s contents from My Account.

Installation

1. Install and activate the free Milo Subscriptions plugin.
2. Upload and activate Milo Box Builder (Plugins → Add New → Upload).
3. Enter your license key under Subscriptions → Licenses to enable updates.

Configuration

Configuration lives on the product (box size + pool); there is no separate settings screen.

Configuring a box

On a subscription product, set the Box size (how many items each box holds) and the Box pool (a searchable product list customers pick from). Out-of-stock pool items are hidden automatically.

The customer experience

The product page shows the pool with quantity steppers and a live counter; add to cart unlocks only at the exact size (also validated server-side). The selection is saved on the order and the subscription, and shows as “Box contents” everywhere. Customers change next month’s box from My Account → subscription → Your next box.

Renewals and fulfillment

Each renewal order is stamped with the selection current at renewal time. Milo Fulfillment’s pick list expands box selections into real product units, so “40 lavender soaps” style totals are automatic.
