Installation

  1. Install and activate the free Milo Subscriptions plugin.
  2. Upload and activate Milo Compliance (Plugins → Add New → Upload).
  3. Enter your license key under Subscriptions → Licenses to enable updates.

Configuration

Auto-renewal compliance: consent proof at checkout, pre-renewal notices with the exact amount, price-increase notifications, and an audit trail on every subscription.

Under Subscriptions → Settings → General → Compliance:

Setting Description
Enable compliance features On/off switch.
Require a renewal-consent checkbox at checkout On/off switch.
Consent text Leave empty for the default. The exact accepted text is archived with each consent.
Pre-renewal notice (days before) Numeric value.
Include a one-click cancel link in notices On/off switch.

Consent proof

The checkbox appears on subscription checkouts (classic and blocks) with your text (or the default). The proof (text, time, IP, user agent, amount) is archived on the subscription and produced in one place if a chargeback or regulator asks.

Pre-renewal notices

A daily task scans subscriptions renewing inside your notice window and sends one notice per cycle: the exact amount, the charge date, and (optionally) a signed one-click cancel link that needs no login. Cancelling that way sets pending-cancel: the customer keeps what they paid for.

Price changes

If a subscription’s renewal amount goes up, the customer is notified before the new amount is ever charged; decreases apply silently. Every consent, notice, price alert, and link-cancellation is logged on the subscription.
